Where is Hancock Christian Academy Located?
We are located in the educational building at Pellville Baptist Church at 12120 State Route 2181 in Hawesville, KY. The church is located behind the Pellville Volunteer Fire Department off Hwy 144 in Pellville.
We are < 15 minutes from Whitesville, ~ 15 minutes from Hawesville, < 20 minutes from Reid’s Orchard in Owensboro, < 20 minutes from Fordsville, < 25 minutes from the main stretch of Hwy 54 in Owensboro, ~ 30 minutes from Tell City, IN, ~ 35 minutes from Hardinsburgh.
Are preschool students required to wear uniforms?
Jumping in puddles and catching snowflakes on tongues make the best memories! Rain boots, rain jackets, warm coats, and gloves will allow your child to make the most of their preschool year. Please dress your child in seasonally appropriate, comfortable play clothing.
We trust parents to use discretion when choosing proper attire—children should dress modestly.
● HCA Preschool Shirt required for chapel on Wednesday. One HCA Preschool shirt is provided. Replacements are parental responsibility.
● Label all jackets and backpacks.
● Pack an extra set of clothing in your child’s backpack in case of accidents.
What size is the preschool class?
Our cap is 16 students. This includes students ranging in age 3 to 5 years old.
What is Beyond the Bell Learning?
Beyond the Bell Learning (BTB Learning) is an extended school day program designed to provide students with a well-rounded and engaging learning experience beyond regular classroom hours. Through a combination of learning through play, targeted instruction to strengthen essential skills, creative arts and crafts projects, and outdoor exploration, BTB Learning fosters both academic growth and personal development. This program offers a supportive and enriching environment where students can continue to learn, discover, and thrive in a fun and interactive setting.
BTB Learning is offered after preschool 3 days per week from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. Kindergarten BTB is offered all 5 days per week from 11:30 – 2:30 pm.
What is RaiseRight?
Raise Right is a rebate program that allows families to purchase gift cards for a variety of restaurants and stores. With each purchase, they earn a rebate that is applied toward their tuition. Friends and family members can also shop through Raise Right using our school’s code, helping to earn even more toward tuition. E-gift cards can be bought directly through the Raise Right app and used for shopping both in-person and online.
Do you offer discounts for multiple students that attend HCA?
Hancock Christian Academy is pleased to offer multi-student discounts for families with children in 1st through 8th grade. While discounts are not available for preschool or kindergarten, we strive to provide quality education at an exceptional value. Please note that discounts do not apply to the Beyond the Bell learning program.
