Academics

Hancock Christian Academy is now accepting enrollments for Preschool through 8th-grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.

🪁 Preschool: 3 – 5 year olds

We cultivate a nurturing, joy-filled environment where children learn through purposeful play. Rooted in a classical Christian approach, we build foundations in truth, goodness, and beauty while integrating early academic readiness through meaningful, engaging experiences. We provide a gentle start to a lifetime of learning.

📚 Grammar School: Kindergarten – 6th Grade

Our Grammar School lays a strong academic and biblical foundation during the years when children naturally love to learn, memorize, and explore. Using the Memoria Press Classical Core Curriculum and Saxon Math, students develop essential skills while growing in wisdom, character, and a love for God.

Students study Bible, reading, phonics, grammar, writing, spelling, literature, history, science, geography, Latin, art, music, and handwriting through a rich, time-tested curriculum rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty. Saxon Math’s incremental approach builds confidence by introducing new concepts while continually reviewing previously learned skills, helping students achieve lasting mastery.

Beyond academics, students memorize Scripture and poetry, read classic literature, practice clear communication, and learn to think carefully and biblically. Every lesson points students toward Christ, encouraging them to pursue excellence, develop godly character, and discover that all knowledge ultimately belongs to God.

🏫 Logic School: 7th & 8th Grade

As students enter the Logic School years, they begin asking “why” and learning how ideas connect. Building on the strong foundation established in Grammar School, students are taught to think critically, reason carefully, and defend truth through a biblical worldview.

Using the Memoria Press Classical Core Curriculum, students engage in advanced studies of Scripture, literature, history, science, mathematics, Latin, grammar, and formal logic. They learn to analyze information, solve problems, write persuasively, and communicate with clarity and confidence.

Every subject is taught through the lens of God’s truth, equipping students to discern truth from error, grow in wisdom and character, and prepare for the greater academic challenges and leadership opportunities of the Rhetoric stage and beyond.
